Loyd Boldman, creator of Pig Iron, was born the day Elvis released his first single ("That's All Right, Mama" b/w "Blue Moon of Kentucky"). His parents were married the night Hank Williams died in the back seat of his Cadillac on the way to a gig. He has no idea what these facts mean, but they sound terribly important. Loyd is an award-winning writer, director, songwriter, voice-over artist, graphic designer and semi-pro whistler. He's written and produced Addy-winning advertising campaigns, directed Dove Award- winning music videos, live shows, and industrial films; worked on a couple hundred album covers for artists ranging from B.B.King to Tammy Faye Bakker, the latter fact of which he'd like to keep quiet. |

In between

and his preternaturally patient wife Carol have four children (Mary, Dave, Dan and the ever- popular Anna), an inscrutable black cat named Shelby, and live in Oviedo, Florida, a suburb of Disney World. They are within sonic- boom range of the Space Coast, and can watch the Space Shuttle lift off in the distance from their front yard. The Boldmans believe them- selves to have the widest variety of hairstyles of any family in the Southeast. |
